Victoria is one of the world’s most exciting renewable energy markets, where a rapidly transforming energy system and clear policy ambition are driving significant investment opportunities.

Our legislated renewable energy and storage targets provide long-term policy certainty and a clear pipeline of demand for renewable energy projects.

The state has committed to generating 95% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2035, supported by legislated energy storage targets of at least 2.6 GW by 2030 and 6.3 GW by 2035.
