Save energy and money
Upgrading from inefficient appliances can help Victorians and businesses cope with cold weather in winter and warm summer temperatures. It is also an ideal way to take control of your energy bills.
On average, households can save $110 a year on energy bills, while the average business can save $3,700. For larger businesses, dollar savings can run into the hundreds of thousands, depending on their upgrades.
The Victorian Energy Upgrades program helps Victorians cut power bills and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by giving households and businesses access to discounted energy-efficient products and services.
These pages provide detailed policy information on the program and the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET) legislation and regulations whereas The Victorian Energy Saver website can help you save energy in your home or workplace.
