Insulation is the most cost-effective way to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of your home. It can help you spend less on heating in winter and less on cooling in summer. By insulating your home, you could save up to 45% on your energy bills.

Insulation as an activity eligible for a rebate is currently under review and is not available through the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.

The review is looking at all the safety and quality assurance issues related to installing insulation. The department will develop a proposal to re-introduce insulation as an activity based on the outcomes of this review.

More information on insulation is available at Sustainability Victoria.
