Lily D'Ambrosio: I want to congratulate Euroa Environment Group, Mondo and everyone involved in this huge achievement. The Euroa Microgrid project has helped local businesses reduce energy bills, improved local power security, and helped reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The Victorian government was proud to contribute $680,000 to help deliver this microgrid.

It's part of our $10 million Microgrid Demonstration Initiative, which has supported the development and implementation of microgrids across Victoria. This program has demonstrated how state of the art technologies can be applied here and now to benefit people and businesses across our state.

And of course, these microgrids are helping us meet our 50% renewable energy target and half our emissions by 2030.

I'm proud of our role in Euroa's renewable energy transition, and I wish you all the best with the next phase of your clean energy story.
