Upgrade and save with VEU
The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program provides homes and businesses with access to discounted energy-efficient products. These include heating, water heating, lighting and draft sealing products.
The average existing Victorian home could save around $2,230 per year by going all-electric - when paired with an existing solar PV system. Without solar panels, converting an existing home to all-electric will save around $1,900 per year.

Solar Homes Program
Solar Victoria’s Solar Homes Program helps Victorians switch to solar by offering eligible households a rebate of up to $1,400 to install rooftop solar (PV), plus the option of an interest free loan to reduce up-front installation costs.
Tip
Switching to solar can save a typical household more than $1,000 every year on energy bills. A rebate of up to $1,400 is also available for households purchasing eligible locally made heat pump and solar hot water systems, while a rebate of up to $1,000 is available for eligible imported hot water products.
Heating water accounts for more than 20% of total energy use in the typical home. Upgrading to an energy efficient hot water system is a great way to save on energy costs. On average, households can expect to save between $210 to $400 every year on electricity bills by installing an energy efficient system.
